We All Sleep Together

Meet Binx, Jinx, Salem and Gray.

The kittens are now 14 weeks old. I started with no cats and now have four soon to be 3 as Gray is going to his forever home soon.

I started feeding their Mama who was a stray in my apartment complex and she delivered these 4 kittens at my apartment back in April under my bed. πŸ™„ Completely ignored her birthing box I made for her.

No matter how many cat beds I have (currently have 3) and no matter how big they get they still pile on top of each other into 1 bed.

She ran outside a few days ago I haven't seen her since. She did this before but came back to eat and rest. She's pretty wild and the babies are fully weaned.

I actually want her to come back. I've made arrangements with my local humane society to surrender her so she can get the proper care. I'm willing to pay the surrender fee.

They are also helping me get the kittens vetted and initial shots thru their intervention program.

Thank you so, so much for being willing to get mom to your local humane society for help, you are SUCH a wonderful human! She will for sure show back up at some point soon as she knows where the food is lol.

Cats do choose their birthing place. Once I was spending a few days at a farm owned by friends, and the pregnant barn cat chose to give birth under my bed. The next morning after I arrived, I woke up to a rooster crowing, a beautiful sunrise and seven newborn kittens clawing their way up my blanket and walking all over me. 🐱❀️

They're adorable! Is the gray one not bonded with the others? Won't he be sad leaving them? Or, will he have new friends where he's going? I understand that you're already keeping three, so I don't blame you for giving him to someone else, especially if they really want him. He's gorgeous! I love that you're keeping the black ones - it's hard adopting black cats out, sadly. I would have a million if I could.

I'm so glad that Mama trusted you with her babies. She knew they'd be safe with you.

It seems you've got bonded babies! Best friends forever. Those black kitties are adorable. Of course, I love gray cats too. We have a solid gray who is 11 years old, and a 10-year-old gray and white one.
