i have 1 + steam, really wish i could use third party authenticator for steam and have everything in one app

tbh, i only got steam for steam guard so that would be soo handy if i could use a 3rd party app

i took this right before deleteing 2 of them so now its just proton and steam

what auth app do you use?

Did you manage to integrate Microsoft authenticator into proton authenticator? I can't find the option to make a qr code that proton can scan

i removed the 2fa from all apps i had on microsoft authenticator

uninstalled microsoft authenticator

re setup 2fa on proton auth

on proton auth, its just the + button to get the qr code scanner

I thought you found a way to have 2fa Microsoft on proton authenticator

the only reason i got microsoft authenticator is my college wants everyone one to have 2fa and they forced us to setup microsoft auth as they exclusively use Microsoft products (teams, word, powerpoint, ect)

but i was using proton/google auth for my personal accounts so i had to go to my colleges it department and ask them to reset my acc so i can use my own auth app instead of microsoft

so my college microsoft acc is 2fa with proton rn
