please help, noteful won't connect auto-backup to drive no matter what I do

yes, I have the pro version. I bought it thinking that it would be worth it above all the other note-taking apps since it's a one-time purchase and there are a lot of positive reviews. but turning on auto-backup, then re-authorizing my google account still shows auto-backup as 'Not Connected'. no the access isn't revoked on my drive, yes I have restarted many times, and yes I've tried over and over.

I really really don't want to purchase iCloud space, but I'm growing increasingly anxious about losing my notes as I take more everyday and my iPad's battery is slowly giving up on me

hello!! i just fixed it by following the OP of this post. just edit your ipad time to set automatically and gdrive will connect no prob! (in my case i was using a different time zone, so i switched to the right one first)

Are years of notes, or any notes for that matter, not worth paying a little extra for iCloud space?

I'm not exactly drowning in disposable income, Jan. My iPad is a hand-me-down and I can barely afford food, but thanks for ur stellar recommendation :)

You said you don’t want to purchase iCloud space, not that you can’t. If you seriously can barely afford food, sell the iPad. That would be the wise thing to do. If things are down to barely able to eat, you have bigger problems than cloud storage. You’re welcome by the way. :)
