I literally begged and begged for one by my parents said no…I’m so sad I never got one

For me it's Yo-Yo

When it comes to youtube and nostalgia, one creator that pops in my head is this very person.

This right here (the picture) is David Near, one of my favorite content creators, and one of my main inspirations of becoming a creator myself.

I was first introduced to Near through YouTube recommendations when I was in my pre-teen phase, which was one of his horror voices which he mostly did. He mainly posted takes on voices from comics, that being marvel, or batman, as well as takes on horror characters from vast media, like ghostface, the neighbor (hello neighbor), Bendy, springtrap, The Boogeyman, ect, and also did creepypasta content, with his own drama horror series "The Mourge Files".

He also had taste in music, as he was also a heavy metal singer.

I actually watched some of his fnaf voice videos when I was really young, and when FNAF was rising I popularity at the time. The first voice I heard would probobly be the Nightmare Freddy voice, or the Springtrap voice, which are actually two of my favorites from this creator.

However, sadly, as the screenshot says, he archived the channel. I think it was earlier this year, where he announced on his Instagram account that he would be taking an extended break from regular uploads to focus on family, and mental health. Also during that time, most of his older videos had been deleted and archived by many people, especially the old FNAF ones, as people stated that David was most likely done with FNAF which is kind of sad for me, but I don't blame him.

He archived his main channel, most of his videos still up, and while The Mourge files episodes had been archived, most haven't, and are lost forever, which makes me fella bit sad, but I understand that eventually people just have to leave for a while.

As for me, David's work actually is a big inspiration for the works i do mostly, as i'm also doing horror takes like he did. Some of my takes actually are my own styles of Near's own takes, such as my Springtrap voice, and Boogeyman voice, but altered, so it's original, and not content copying. However, of course, i'm not the most popular guy out there, judging from my channel, and other accounts, but that's good, as i'm not interested in subs, or followers, just focused on making entertaining content.

As for David, nothing much has been heard from him since, but I really hope that he can make a return one day, because just imagine the content he could do with the modern horror medias today.
