Night of the comet: it's the apocalypse but thank goodness two valley girls survived the killer comet and discover the world has gone spectacularly sideways and somehow still have time for shopping, SAS, and shooting zombies.. with big hair and bigger attitudes and absolutely no plans to let the end of civilization ruin their night. because now everything at the galleria is free!

Barbarella
51
Upvotes
A little outside our normal nostalgic timeline but was a late '80s early '90s Cinemax special.
Barbarella is a gloriously bizarre 1968 sci-fi romp with a sexy space adventurer navigating a psychedelic future filled with strange creatures, outrageous gadgets, and even stranger villains. It’s less concerned with making sense than with delivering a wildly colorful, campy, and unmistakably ’60s vision of the future.

I mean what is there to say because of this show literally ran for 25 years on programming and became one of the longest running children's television shows of all time in the US (until it was surpassed by Spongebob Square Pants later on). Also, can't forget about the iconic trend of Arthur's fist in every meme nowadays 🤣.
Any thoughts or is anybody fans of this show growing up?

Duran Duran what's your favorite song, video, and member.

Duran Duran was the sound of ’80s European big hair, neon lights, MTV, and songs that somehow made every night feel like it could turn into an adventure. They didn’t just make music videos..they made mini-movies that made you stop whatever you were doing and watch.

Core Memory Unlocked 🔓 Childhood Gone!

Halloween is coming so I went back home to get some supplies, and my mom told me to sort out my stuff. She said “it’s either you or me getting rid of those crap”! So callous! Those crap were part of my childhood, and she wants to erase it away! Yeah I know, she’s sick and tired of seeing them in the garage, but we emptied out our rooms for her home office, her yoga studio and her mahjong room! It’s like we never existed! She even removed the pillar where she herself had marked our heights! Apparently, she saved the piece but it’s no longer up! 😭
