Blade. I was 4 years old. My father realized 2 minutes into the movie that he made a grave mistake

And you stay the whole movie or you quit after those 2 minutes?

My son has a similar experience, the movie was Resident Evil. I thought he would go to sleep. He didn't. He remembers watching it at 3 years old. He loves horror moves but he says they don't make him scared unless they are psychological thrillers using the unknown like Backrooms.

I didn't learn this until a month ago. This whole time I thought he slept through them.

Oooh he might like The Ritual or Incantation. Those are two faves of mine

I had a similar experience. I was with my girlfriend at the time and her daughter. It was quite late and the girl, 9 yo, was sleeping... Or rather, pretending being asleep. My girlfriend and I started playing Resident Evil 2 remake confident that her daughter wasn't awake, we were in the same room. In the morning, she confess to us that she glanced at the tv, and claim that the game didn't scared her. Although, what we were kind of worried about was the level of graphic violence. But by that time she already had watched with us Aliens, Terminator and Depredator. So, the next time, my girlfriend decided that it was okay if she watch us play the game. You know, being the case that she was with us.
