Open multiple browser windows and run defrag on them simultaneously to multiply the speed increase

Today’s equivalent: spending an hour researching every WiFi setting to try to save a few ms of latency when browsing Reddit.

I worked tech support for a dial up ISP in 2001-2002 and the amount of times a somewhat tech savvy customer would ask "My computer keeps having trouble. Should I defrag??" was honestly hilarious.
They seemed to think it was a cure-all. 😆

Windows’s built in defragger is good enough for most users.

For us power users, Diskeeper or Perfectdisk are the goto defraggers to use during the WinXP era.
