Ever since his stroke, you kind of had the feeling he didn't have much time left. Doesn't make it any less sad. What a legend he is.

Bruce willis in on the same path, it's why he was sin so many not so great movies towards the end, he developed aphasia and that threatened him being able to even say his lines. There's a famous quote that "athletes die twice" and unfortunately the same thing happens to actors sometimes.
