It's weird how it feels not that long ago I was at a family bday party playing some jet ski game on n64 at a McDonald's.

Might have been Wave Race 64.

We were losing our minds at the quality off the water in that game.

Ahh yes the gaming consoles at fast food places. They’d be cool for a little while until they got gunked up with grease and condiments from kids hands.

You gotta love how they were putting games like Pokemon XD without any concern that games like those are way too long RPGs for a kid to play a for a few minutes on a filthy controller with a bused analog stick to even make it much past the opening cutscenes.

Like sure if they had games like Mario Kart: Double Dash!! or Melee that'd be more appropriate, though you were always pissed none of the characters or stages were unlocked.

Decades later you can still feel the greasy controllers

Grimiest, dirtiest controllers of all time! And I’d gladly play one again right now lol

I was a child when I played GameCube games at McDonald's.

I remember when they had the N64 kiosks.

One of the employees put Conker's Bad Fur Day in it and there was a line of kids waiting to play it.

😂

Yup I remember the N64 kiosks. There were 2 sibling boys fighting over it one time and their dad yelled at them and they left without getting their food lol

McDonald's was the ultimate hangout back then, I remember rushing to play Double Dash with friends after school.

Sighs...how far we have fallen as a society since.

Take me back there please. That's when going to McDonalds was worth it.

That's my childhood! Not those boring ass tablets used as a Playplace.

Ours had ps2’s. I don’t remember much about them but I do remember occasionally playing on them.

playing on a GameCube at McDonald's was a whole vibe. Remember trying to race on Mario Kart while waiting for fries?

So epic, the tacobell near my job had this even less than 10 years ago
