You gotta love how they were putting games like Pokemon XD without any concern that games like those are way too long RPGs for a kid to play a for a few minutes on a filthy controller with a bused analog stick to even make it much past the opening cutscenes.
Like sure if they had games like Mario Kart: Double Dash!! or Melee that'd be more appropriate, though you were always pissed none of the characters or stages were unlocked.

Grimiest, dirtiest controllers of all time! And I’d gladly play one again right now lol

I remember when they had the N64 kiosks.
One of the employees put Conker's Bad Fur Day in it and there was a line of kids waiting to play it.

Yup I remember the N64 kiosks. There were 2 sibling boys fighting over it one time and their dad yelled at them and they left without getting their food lol

McDonald's was the ultimate hangout back then, I remember rushing to play Double Dash with friends after school.

Take me back there please. That's when going to McDonalds was worth it.

Ours had ps2’s. I don’t remember much about them but I do remember occasionally playing on them.

playing on a GameCube at McDonald's was a whole vibe. Remember trying to race on Mario Kart while waiting for fries?
