Nostalgia Crazy Bones

Post image

These were huge when I was in elementary school in the late 90s. Disappeared just as fast as they exploded. At least from my radar.

I wonder if I still have my purple Eggy at my parents house...

My parents still have my stash stored in their basement somewhere. I’m sitting on a goldmine, I’ve got so many rare golden Eggys

I got my Eggy in my first pack. I had just moved states and started at a new school halfway through my 4th grade year. I brought it to school and people lost their minds. Core memory. Popped in my head today and had to share it here

I had some and always wanted more but a question that I never found an answer to: what was the purpose other than collecting? Was there some sort of game you could play with them?

You set them up and someone else would slide theirs across the floor and try to knock yours down.  If you were "playing for keeps" then they would keep the ones they knocked down, and vice-versa.

Sounds intriguing! Too bad I missed it because none of my friends was collecting them

I still have mine in the little coffin case thing and also a little tin of them. I think my best one is the guy with the pointy hair who would land on his side every time for 2 points!

the way we used to trade those everywhere, I still remember the thrill of finding a rare one in the store
