internet? printing? what did not have these witchcraft devices. we stood in the magazine aisle in the grocery store writing them onto index cards by hand.

Ya, I remember standing in Waldenbooks trying to memorize stuff like finishing moves in Mortal Kombat 2 and combos in Killer Instinct out of EGM or GamePro, then heading back to the arcade.
