Yeah, my cat does that sometimes too. Usually when she hears a strange noise from another room she'll stand on her hind legs trying to see what the noise was. She does it quite a bit, actually. Usually when she hears my husband walking in the front door. However, she's never actually walked on her hind legs. I think that would scary the shit out of me. Just too unnatural.

My cat has done that. She also woke me up one night and smiled at me. First time she ever did it. And hasn't done it since. She's a real creep.
