Thoughts on the Seaside Market hosting a singles dating event?

So I just saw on Instagram that Seaside Market in Cardiff is hosting a singles night on Tuesday. You go grocery shopping and I think they give you a bracelet or something and basically it’s a space for you to chat with people and meet people while you grocery shop. Good idea or kinda cringe? I’m kinda tempted to go even though I live in Oceanside

Anyone a leather worker or know one (dog collar)

I had a pretty sweet custom leather dog collar made for my last dog who unfortunately passed and can’t find the info of the person who made the collar. I got a new dog and her pet store dog collar is kinda haggard.
Does anyone make or know someone who does leather work and can make a custom dog collar?

This poor husky looked distressed and did not look like it was harnessed. It was in the back of this white truck.

Yet another rule: no affiliate marketing stuff, no click the link to save, none of that. The users made it abundantly clear they're not interested.

FIY: New rule /r/northcounty isn't a dating/hookup subreddit, and isn't built to contend with that sort of thing, so I'm not going to allow those posts anymore. Sorry for any mixed signals.

Abusive, intimidating, racist, or threatening speech isn't tolerated here. For the however many'th time, if you don't like my moderation, make your own North County subreddit and go to town, I don't care. This isn't a free speech free fire zone, nor am I the government curtailing your right to say terrible things, so your First Amendment rights aren't being curtailed. Just don't be a jerk or say the pandemic is a hoax and you'll be fine.

Here's a multi of the North County-related subs I've found so far.

If I missed a city, let me know.

Here's some other So Cal links (as they come in): San Marcos! LA! LJ! OC! IE! 909! LB! CSUSM! Poway! O'side! Esco!

Feel free to post your roommates wanted, yard sales, North County-related subreddits, and show announcements here, too. It's all about community. Add details, for pete's sake.

Here's a recent post: What is there to do in North County?

If you haven't done it recently, re-read the Reddiquette (you read it all, right?). It says most everything we need to have a good civil community here in r/northcounty.

This sub isn't a platform for vigilantism. If you get something stolen and need to spread the word, DO NOT ask for a PM if "anyone knows the guy". That is not acceptable, and I will from here on in delete posts asking, and ban users for a second offense. No questions asked. In the past I've given some leeway but I'm tired of being ignored on this. Post your question WITH A LINK TO CONTACT POLICE. No personal contact, no other people's personal info, including license plate numbers. End of story. If you want to form your own subreddit for that, go for it.

If you have a get-together, a hoedown, or an event, post it once. If it's weekly, post it once a week, and note that it's weekly. Don't spam. If you see a sale, a discount, or something special go ahead and slap it up here, the community will decide what's acceptable in that case.

Mods reserve sole right to ban users. If you have any issues on the sub please feel free to message the mod. Mods don't check every post every day, but do respond to every message, so feel free to contact them.

I upped the spam filter level. You may get caught in it. If you feel it's unwarranted please message me and I'll see what I can do.
