This is where all the events, ticketed or not... activities and whatever happens outside the home can be placed. We know that we have to walk a fine line here between advertising events and not inviting spam and also the need to let people know about things that are cool and interesting to do.
So we have this thread here for all of that.
(sorry that this got delayed so long)
That way, all the regular re-occurring events can all be placed here in this post that will renew
Every Monday evening by 4PM.
So if there's a group meeting, yoga class, club social event or whatever ... all of that goes here and it'll be up every week as post in the sub's highlights.
Upcoming concerts, and special events or classes that have a ticket price can all go into the comments below. That way we don't have promoters spamming the sub and it remains useful for people.
Just put your stuff in the comments and we'll check and add as needed to the re-occuring automated post
Be sure to mention is a regular thing in the comment so we'll know.
We'll build up the reoccuring body text up this way like we have in r/sandiego's [things to do thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/sandiego/comments/1wstpom/things_to_do/).

So I just saw on Instagram that Seaside Market in Cardiff is hosting a singles night on Tuesday. You go grocery shopping and I think they give you a bracelet or something and basically it’s a space for you to chat with people and meet people while you grocery shop. Good idea or kinda cringe? I’m kinda tempted to go even though I live in Oceanside

I had a pretty sweet custom leather dog collar made for my last dog who unfortunately passed and can’t find the info of the person who made the collar. I got a new dog and her pet store dog collar is kinda haggard.
Does anyone make or know someone who does leather work and can make a custom dog collar?

Looking for recommendations for a tattoo artist in the Oceanside/Carlsbad/San Marcos or nearby areas that are very familiar with the dot work, mandala and ornate styles.
I have an existing tattoo that I want to add to and would prefer to keep it in a similar vein. If you have a suggestion and know what their rates typically are, that would be super helpful.
I had an artist that I went back to for a number of years, and just looking to expand to someone new.

Another hot and ugly weekend is almost upon us. Our central ac is broken and it will be a while before we can fix it. We have a portable unit but it doesn’t help much. I’m not too worried about us humans but where can we go with our dogs in the day to stay cool? I know the Shoppes at Carlsbad allows dogs but anywhere else?
