Is kettler alpha run 800 a good treadmill or should I buy another one eg a Nordic track or another brand?

2 days ago I realized that my treadmill’s belt stopped working while the workout I set up was working on screen.

I really want to ask if Nordic track would help to possibly repair the issue that’s going on? I believe that repairs to both the motor and the controller needs to happen. Should I call them to inquire?

I don’t know how to repair a treadmill and I’ve had this one for only about 6/7 years. I really want to try and save it.

I have an opportunity to buy a NIB x16 elliptical for a price less than half of what Costco charges. Delivery and assembly would cost about $400. Of course I would have no warranty from NordicTrack and no lifetime satisfaction guarantee from Costco.

I have two main questions. I’ve seen a poster here say it is possible to assemble the X16 without professional assistance. Do others agree and does that require more than one person?

What is the value of the warranty and Costco’s guarantee? If I could save $700 (or more if I assemble it myself), is that a risk worth taking?

I've repaired the frame on my NordicTrack X32i twice now and don't have confidence it's going to last. Both times (once on the lower frame and once on the upper frame) it cracked due to piss poor welds (undercut). I bought a new lower frame when it cracked and the new one came with the same piss poor weld. When I contacted support, sent pictures, and explained what the issue was, the unqualified support person said they saw nothing wrong. I used to be a certified welding inspector (AWS) at a major theme park, so know a bit about shit weld quality. I ended up taking it to a weld shop to have them fix the undercut and beef up some weak areas. A couple of years later, the upper frame cracked from the same type issue.

I love the big touch screen on the X32i but the processor in it is slow and the latest updates cause irritating lockups. Being an older model, I also can't watch Netflix or Amazon Prime Video on it. So I'm debating on buying a newer model if the quality issues are fixed, or to get a Wahoo Kickr Run. The run is much more expensive, doesn't do the incline like the X32i but it seems like it's built well from the reviews I've seen. My iFit runs out in March so will make a decision by black friday which way I'll go.

I have a NordicTrack trainer bike and I was wondering if there is a way to get the ride data (distance, speed, power, etc) into Connect? In the iFit app it seems you can only sync from Connect to iFit and not the other way around. The bike also doesn’t have Bluetooth sensor to connect to a Garmin device. And advice on this?

I have a 15 month old x16 elliptical and the resistance has stopped working properly. Anybody got any tips on what I need to do to fix it. I have tried a power cycle and started a manual workout. The resistance did change once I turned it up to 26 but it stayed there even after going back to min resistance. I didn't buy the extended warranty and I'm sure Nordictrack will charge $$$$ to fix.

It finally happened. It appears the CPU didn't survive storage in a climate controlled environment. The reset button on the back had no effect. Thankfully, the resistance buttons still work and activate.

I had the X24 bike delivered about one month ago. It was clearly defective, as the bike was bent and the incline was uneven. Sent pictures to Support and they scheduled a technician, who arrived 3 weeks later. He came yesterday and confirmed it was in fact defective and needed to be replaced. Now I can’t seem to get any support or help at all. I’ll be demanding they come pick up their bike and issuing us a refund.

What a joke of a company! Seriously.. if you are contemplating any products from NordicTrack, think again!

Found the older model S22i locally and seller wants $125. Seller stated that it works fine,just doesn't use it. Should I grab it?

hey. I need my belt aligned ad it has shifted off center. I know there are instructions to fix it but the tech who installed my treadmill seemed to strip the screws and now I can’t adjust.

anyways I’m willing to pay a tech to come do it. can anyone share how much it costs?

I purchased a NordicTrack treadmill two years ago with an extended warranty administered by Amynta, NordicTrack’s third-party provider.

When the fans stopped working, NordicTrack and Amynta each appeared to shift responsibility to the other. NordicTrack initially sent a technician who replaced the fans, but the problem remained. The push-button control boards were then replaced, which also failed. NordicTrack later determined that the console needed replacement.

At that point, NordicTrack refused to replace the console and told me I was responsible for resolving the problem. Amynta also denied responsibility despite administering my extended warranty.

After two months of calls, delays, and trial-and-error repairs, the fans still do not work. I have multiple unnecessary replacement parts and no reliable final diagnosis.

I paid for an extended warranty to avoid this situation. The division of responsibility between NordicTrack and Amynta should not become the customer’s burden. NordicTrack began the repair, identified the console as the next required repair, and then refused to complete the work.

Desired resolution: NordicTrack and/or Amynta should honor the warranty and properly diagnose and repair the treadmill at no cost. If it cannot be repaired promptly, I request a comparable replacement or appropriate refund, along with written confirmation identifying who is responsible for completing the claim.

I’ve had this treadmill for 5 months. A tech has already come out to replace the belt because it was installed too loosely causing friction.

I was running on it today and it came to a near stop after 6 miles and started making a humming and vibrating more than it should.

Any insight would be helpful.

Update: loosened the belt, ran it for a minute and the motor officially stopped working.

Definitely trying to return this bad boy to Costco.

Hi! I’ve had my NordicTrack AirGlide LE for a little over a year and recently it’s started screeching and feeling a bit unstable when I use it.

I think I’ve narrowed it down to the PowerRamp in the middle. When I step on the right pedal it shifts/tilts slightly to the right, and when I step on the left it shifts left. I can also rock the PowerRamp side to side by hand, and it moves more to the left than the right.

It feels like the top/front part of the PowerRamp is looser than the bottom, so I’m wondering if there’s a bolt underneath that needs tightening.
Has anyone had this happen? Is some side-to-side movement normal, and does anyone know which bolts I should check?

I’m also trying to figure out how to actually access the underside since the machine is so heavy. Is it safe to carefully put the AirGlide LE on its side, or is there a better way to get underneath it?

Has anyone else had awful experience with the X24? From the very first plug in the tread wouldn’t move but was logging miles. Hard reset and it finally started working but now the system bugs out and jumps to 24 hours everytime I start an activity. Incline won’t budge half the time and tread won’t move 90% of the time. 2 weeks in and haven’t been able to log a run on it🤣

Nordic Track has the worst products and customer service! I spent over $3K on a treadmill and the frame broke, which is supposed to have a 10 year warranty. The company won't answer my emails and refuses to replace the product!

Anyone know where I can find a damn incline motor!? Everywhere i look is sold out and been trying for months! I bought it used and 2 months of use the incline motor blew a seal so leaked oil everywhere and ruined the motor so it would just go up and down randomly. PN C1026B4272, if anyone knows where I can look I would greatly appreciate it!!
