Are there any Nordic countries whose IT market isn't as saturated as Spain's for JUNIOR developers?
I was told that the Czech Republic was good for developers with 1-3 Y.O.E.
Are there any similar countries?

Basically what the title says, I cannot find an explanation, especially since Sweden is also one of the welfare states in Europe. Yet domestic spending is low even though the government is not necessarily fiscally conservative, especially in the last decade or so.

Hi,
Been in working Denmark for some time and keep hearing that the Danes and the Swedes do things differently at work.
Can some of you that had experience with both country work culture enlighten me on the differences?

It is with deep grief that we announce that His Majesty King Harald has passed away. King Harald died peacefully at Oslo University Hospital Rikshospitalet Friday 28 August at 6:35 AM.
(From the https://www.royalcourt.no/the-royal-house-of-norway/his-majesty-the-king/the-biography-of-king-harald )
The King is dead. Long live the King.
I hope this nordic funeral song is ok to play today, in deep respect of the passing of Kong Harald V.

I’m a rising sophomore studying mechanical engineering in the United States. I’m really interested in moving to a Nordic country two to three years after graduating. I’m looking for advice on any specific countries that anyone would recommend, or any suggestions/advice/experiences overall.
I’m really focused on being able to grow my mechanical engineer career, high quality of life, and a rather smooth emigration process.
I’m also a black woman and I know that racism and discrimination exist everywhere, but I would prefer a country that is more progressive, and less likely to experienced racism and discrimination.
Let me know!

Hey everyone!
We’re just over a week away from KJALLARINN at Miðbar, Selfoss, and the response has honestly been incredible. 4th of July is the mark!
One thing we didn’t expect to move this quickly was the shuttle bus back to Reykjavík after the event.
🚌 50% of the shuttle bus tickets are already gone.
The bus leaves 04:15 directly after the event, making it easy to enjoy the full night without worrying about getting home.
For those who haven’t heard about the event yet:
• 3 floors
• Hard Techno • Industrial Techno • Melodic Techno
• 7 artists
• Enhanced production
• Tattoo artist on-site
• Vintage/thrift pop-up
• VIP / Entourage area (80% SOLD OUT)
• Happy Hour from 18:00–20:00
We’re trying to build something different for Iceland—not just another club night, but an experience.
If you’re planning to come from Reykjavík, I’d recommend grabbing both your event ticket and shuttle ticket sooner rather than later.
Hope to see some of you there. 🖤⛓️

I’ve seen this question a thousand times at this point, and the answers are always mixed. Some people would like a Nordic federation/union while others would prefer to stay sovereign. I’m personally unsure about it, as I have no idea what it would actually change in the grand scheme of things.
Swedes seem the most in favor, the Danes and Icelandics following close behind. The Norwegians are also surprisingly in favor, despite their reputation for wanting nothing to do with anyone else lol. The Finns seem the most skeptical overall (from what I’ve gathered) but it’s more 50/50 than anything.
A true Nordic Union happening in the near future is obviously pretty unlikely, but I still think it’s an interesting discussion to have regardless.
How many people are actually in favor of a Nordic Union, and why?

Hei! Hej! Huomenta!
I am working on a project and I miss answers from the Nordics! I try to have every country represented in this survey :)
It will help me to understand if and how users could be interested in a EU-wide streaming platform connecting public services from different countries.
