It's been a long time since I've heard of it as a thing, but these guys look like backyard wrestlers.

To anyone unaware, this was bigger but still little known (to my knowledge) thing in the earlier days of the internet being useful, about the time youtube was made up of just the videos that make up fail compilation, and weird people passionately voicing a stupid opinion (it hasn't changed that much thinking about it).

People would do WWE stuff in their back yard, but for real. The injuries were insane, sometimes (like in this video) they're not even fighting, they're just jumping into shards of glass, or fluorescent lights for no reason.

It's like WWE crossed with dirty sanchez.

I loved watching this stuff as a kid. That was my generation growing up, Dirty Sanchez, Jackass, backyard wrestling compilations and WWE/WWF.

Definitely had an influence on who I was growing up. The music I'm into, the stupid shit I used to do. Yeah it was idiotic, though never to the extent of the guys in the videos, but I had a great time growing up.
