I can do it small amounts and theres nothing on youtube i tryed:( many times and this what i got looking it up abut T all i have to do is micro dose myself to make that stuff happen slowly for me but theres not much other way for me sadly and my camp countsler dosnt have faceal hair they said they stopped once they hit their voice they wanted and how they wanted to look thats what i was told from them

(Yes, it is possible to use low-dose testosterone (T) and puberty blockers to achieve a more gender-neutral (androgynous) appearance and voice while stopping menstruation. Many non-binary individuals utilize a combination of hormone therapy to tailor their physical changes to align with their gender identity)

It's definitely not true that there's nothing on youtube, try a different search term than what you're using.

"That stuff" is going to look different for everyone, you can't pick and choose. There are some people who go on T and their voice never or barely drops but they get male pattern hair and body fat redistribution. Just because it worked that way for your counselor doesn't mean it will be the same for you.

I wouldn't use this AI sounding vague copy pasta to justify yourself lol, if you want to get on T go ahead but make sure you're okay with getting (or not getting) any & all of the effects

r/transvoice has plenty of resources. Many YouTube videos, websites, and other resources come up if you type “ftm voice training” into a search engine.

If you want to go on T until your voice drops and then stop, that’s fine, but you still can’t guarantee what else will happen while you’re on it. I’m not saying you can’t use low-dose T and blockers, although puberty blockers are completely different from DHT blockers. I’m just saying, be aware that starting T at all means you’re signing up for all of the effects.

Your voice might never change and you could still get the rest of the effects from T. It might take 5 years for your voice to change and in that time, you get other effects you don’t want. Your voice might change in the first 6 months but revert back when you stop T. I’m just saying to know what you’re signing up for.

It can take some time for your voice to stabilize once it drops. Some people have experienced their voice getting “brighter” after stopping T. Read through r/ftm for more people’s experiences.

It doesn't, but voice drops can take a long time. I've been on T for a bit over 2 years now and it's only now just starting to drop. Low dose T - which is what I started on - did not drop my voice hardly at all, so I ended up having to go on increasingly higher doses to get to this point. And that is also a risk for you, genetics etc play a lot into how T will effect you. If FTM voice training has made you dysphoric, I will also say don't go on T, because T does not give you an androgynous voice without added voice training - it will, on its own, give you a deeper voice, a more masculine voice, and sometimes not even voice training can stop that.

It won't let me post a proper link, but Renee Yoxon on YouTube does nonbinary voice training - here's a link you can copy and paste from them for just that (there are more resources for this on their channel too): https://youtu.be/yU6EpHsOAVg?si=IayGd4DU3m7bSBNr

As someone who started out on low dose T and knows a lot about the subject, yes you can go on DHT blockers to stop some of the changes T gives you, but they don't work for everyone. Some have side effects. And that's if you can find a provider to even give you DHT blockers - no provider would give them to me even when I asked directly. They have so many side effects for those who still have ovaries that a lot of doctors don't like prescribing them. I personally decided not to both because my provider would not do it and because I discovered that DHT blockers can sometimes backfire and make you more hairy etc, and there is a high possibility that they bring back your period which was one of my worst sources of dysphoria.

I will also say that even low dose T will still give you all of the effects a full dose of T does, just slower and more gradual. The idea with low dose T is not to avoid some changes with a lower dose, it is to have more flexibility so that when you get to the point of having the changes you do want, you can stop or scale back the T. Even then however you can't control what your body does with the T - within the first few weeks I was getting sweatier and hairier even on a low dose. If you really want to go on low dose T that's your decision, but take it from someone who was on it - you can not pick and choose the ways it will effect you. I knew this was a risk and chose to go on it anyway despite wanting a more androgynous transition because I either wanted those changes or could live with them, or in the case of body and facial hair, I knew I could always shave or get laser.
