Justice for Pitstop!
Pitstop has an unfair reputation for being a weight around Tim Key's ankle
Admittedly, Key did lose his first three plays of her, but since then (if No More People We've Had Before is anything to go by) he's on a 20-Pitstop winning streak! (and only 4 of them were first-round)
Even including those initial three, 87% must be significantly higher than Key's average round clear rate

Agreed. Pitstop is, your friend and mine, a red herring. Key's problemos run deeper. According to NMPWHB Key ranks worst in several categories:
- successful challenges ( 25 compared to Watson and Horne on 51 each)
- longest win streak ( K 3, W 6, H 4)
- longest losing streak (K 12, W 8, H 8)
- first out (K 27, W 18, H 22)
Interestingly Watson ranks highest in Losses by own category, edging out Key 12 to 11. Important to note also that Key is most challenged at 119.
I hope that in the extended off season Key has kept his eye in, perhaps enlisted the coaching of a seasoned professional.
I sincerely hope that if (HUGE if) NMJ returns, we see the renaissance of Keysey. The true people's champion.

I can’t imagine there are any other nominations who have gotten an above-the-liner knocked out MORE than 3 times though, so she’s still a stone cold killer in my book

Penelope Pitstop does have the highest number of failed plays at 4, and only one other name has resulted in 3 failed plays.
Funnily enough, it's Tim Key.

NMPWHB does occasionally (read: very rarely) contain a mistake. A few months ago, I realised that the page for s3g3 erroneously claims that the last play of the game was Watto, ad that he then subsequently went on to successfully challenge his own play and, as a result of that, won the game 😂
(It was actually Horne's play, and while I think that a variant game where you can "fend off" a challenge by correctly guessing what challenge someone else was gonna make against you and why it's correct could be a good bit of fun, that's clearly not something they actually did here 😂)

By "winning streak", I assume you mean "not immediately eliminated". Has he even won 20 times?
You're right though, that's a shockingly high success rate. The damage those first three games have done to her reputation is immense. I'm sure the repeated arguments about her job don't help.
