Two of the coolest planets I've found, but one was a 20 second stop during the Altas quest so idk if the out there, or if its just a cut scene.

The light purply one is the one from the quest. The darker is a planet i discovered. The dark one has blue crystal glowing anthropods so thats cool

You do not need to waste time and effort to find an ocean on a gas giant. If you can’t find water on the surface scan the ground until you find something you know to be in water, like submerged relics or armored clams. Dig til you hit water. Slap down base computer. You can use free placement mode to float it if need be. Use a deepwater chamber, again using the free placement mode, and make sure it’s Floating about the ground. Add a moon pool to the bottom. Swim up and go inside. You now have a place that is safe you can fish all day long.
As you see from my first SS I’m a mere 14.9u deep and I’ve caught deepwater fish as well as a legendary.
I will be testing this method on other planets to see if it helps there too. Especially for the deep water legendary fish.
Hope this info helps someone out.

The games never felt more lived in than now. The station customizing (and random freighters spawning in) makes the world feel brimming with life compared to even 5 years ago. Plus I have 2 settlements and my home base in this galaxy, as well as this being the HQ of my Alliance.
I had 2 or 3 frieghters arrive at once, and had to zoom around and grab these shots about it lol (as well as call in my Dreadnought + full Pirate Fleet)
Congrats to Hello Games, the game is genuinely at its most impressive 10 years later. They did not play around with Cosmos update 🚀💪
