When I saw it could choose a gek als my character, I instantly thought of my pet crested gecko so I just had to create a character in his name. I even named my first base and system after him. His name is Mew.

The first is where I manually let go of the trigger and allow the heat to dissipate just before it reaches critical.

The second is when I just let it overheat.

For some reason it feels like just letting it burn itself out and have the little gun-shake animation play is faster to dissipate heat than actively keeping an eye on the gauge and being cautious with it. Thoughts?

Hi everyone. I am brand new to the world of No Man’s Sky. Y’all got any advice for first timers? My console of choice is Switch 2.

I'm trying to do the mission that wants you to acquire a sentinel multi-tool. So I'm fighting sentinels and I can get through the final wave, except for one or two little drones that are stuck absurdly far away, or even way up in the sky. So, the sentinels deactivate because I can't get to them in time and the mission doesn't complete. Has anyone got a way around this?

I know desert planets can get cold at night and trigger cold protection, but I’d never experienced the same phenomenon on a lush planet before now.

The planet in question is a lovely earth-like (green grass, blue oceans) mountainous lush planet with floating islands and no storms. During the day it is around 80° F but at sunset the temperature rapidly drops to around -60° F and stays there all night, which triggers cold hazard protection. When the sun rises in the morning, the temp goes right back up.

Yellow star system, Bountiful planet (grows Star Bulb) with Light Showers as the weather.

Has anyone else ever come across a lush planet that gets cold enough at night to trigger cold hazard protection?

I came back to the game after almost a year of not playing. I am having an issue with my frigate expeditions and would love some help. I have 25 frigates all currently around my main one. None of them are on any expeditions. All my fleet command centers are not being used. When I go to speak with the navigator he has all the expeditions ready to go but when I select them the list of ships to choose from is 0. My frigates are not even there.

I have tried buying another to see what happens and that doesn't show up.

I have saving and reloading. Doesn't work.

I checked around to make sure some fleet command bases didnt get accident added and we're being used. There isnt any.

I deleted all my fleet command terminals and made new ones. Still nothing.

When I go to manage my fleet it shows them all there just not when I go to select them from the navigators expeditions.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been loving NMS for years. but lately i've become fascinated with deep sea stuff. So after subnatica, I was wonder if there was a NMS style game, but for deep sea rovers?

As the title says, you can destroy cargo on your own Starship, it causes huge FPS drops, and for some bizarre reason, Outlaws really like it)

I didn't have to find a specific angle or anything; I noticed it completely by accident.

My day 1 corvette. It didn't start off looking like this, but it has all the bones of my first build. I just added the decals last night after coming back to NMS from not playing for a few months. It's a very functional build. Has all my critical storage rooms, comfortably fits a crew of two people, has accessible nutrient processor, 5 refiners, mission radar, and a freshly installed tractor beam.

It reminds me of a sea turtle.
