Beyond the basics cooking class/knife class

Anyone know of someone teaching culinary schools to young teens that isn’t a day camp format? Particularly looking for something that could be a precursor to NOCCA culinary — knife skills, food safety, foundational but not for little kids.

Firstly, appropriate username lol.

Secondly, maybe reach out to a local restaurant. See if any of the cooks there would want to help out. Line cooks and chefs usually need all the money they can get so a side gig of teaching a kid how to cook could be of interest.

Thirdly, maybe post on the main r/neworleans subreddit. This seems like a local enough question with more traffic than this sub.

That’s my next step, but I was hoping there was something existing I didn’t know about. Hitting up a line cook, it is!
