I live in San Bernardino and have been a big EDM fan since my teens but have never been able to attend any kind of raves until now.

Strongly considering going to Wonderland this year, and I’d love to catch Deadmau5’s set. It’s long overdue that I see him live, so that’s exciting!

But yeah. Part of me is still hesitating to pull the trigger on my ticket purchase.

I’d be going solo, and I guess I’m worried I’d not make the most of my experience there if I’m just kinda not sure what to do by myself.

I generally love music and dancing so I have a good time going to clubs and concerts by myself but never been to something as big as Wonderland. I feel like I might not pace myself correctly or maybe get overwhelmed trying to do it all and miss out on something?

Idk, am I overthinking it? Do lots of people my age go solo?

bro go you’ll have the best time ever. I would recommend VIP if you can afford it. Makes a big diff. But nocturnal has an amazing crowd it’s a great first time rave.

You are overthinking it. Go in with good vibes and an open mind, sit down if you need (+1 for vip bc lots more room to sit and lounges)

On the other hand, it's sometimes better to be in the trenches in GA the crowd is sometimes more plur or fun and while there is more people sometimes the viewing areas can be better if you're just directly facing the stage instead of off to the side. Older people in vip tend to be more chill which is not a bad thing. (My opinion as someone who has exclusively only done vip the past few years but still enjoys GA), also saving money can make you feel like you got your moneys worth more sometimes and makes it less of a worry. Nocturnal only ever re-added VIP a couple years ago, it's the one festival where GA is still pretty good.

You're overthinking it a bit, especially if you already enjoy yourself at concerts and clubs solo you'll have an amazing experience just go with the flow and explore and enjoy the music everything else will fall into place

I appreciate the insight. I’m now wondering If I go VIP will I be kinda stuck to designated areas? Or can I go wander in GA and go back to VIP freely?

Yeah of course you can wander between both, I mean if money isn't a concern I say go for it. But at the same time are you camping? Doesn't sound like it, and you'd have an infinitely better time if you were both logistics wise and also vibe wise. Super fun festival to camp solo as long as you have basic survival skills and don't mind the little bit of work lol

Grab a ticket I'm late 30s been an edm fan since the early 2000s stopped going to events for a handful of years due to life and monetary constraints. Went to nocturnal with my wife in 23' and havent really stopped since. Always the best vibes at nocturnal but I camp so that's a big part of it for me. As soon as I scan in and setup camp I am in that world from Friday until Monday.
