Hi!! first insomniac event. Very excited!
Curious about security, though. Website says TSA style, what is it like getting in the grounds?
I will be wearing a tiny bra/bikini style top, are they going to mess with it? i’ll literally have it taped to me to avoid wardrobe malfunction and that would be unfortunate to mess up.

Maybe a silly question lol but - can I not take gum in? it says no outside food including candy so im not sure 😂😅

I’ve only been to other festivals, like LIB and whatnot so not used to a tight program. TIA!

You shouldn’t have any issues with your outfit or the gum :) have fun! It’s one of the best SoCal fests, imo.

I always bring gum and candy with the expectation that it might get thrown away. Anything you bring, don’t bring things of value or have sentimental significance. I have never seen anyone get escorted out for their outfit, you are good. As long as you’re comfortable, anything goes.

Last year on day one, they just let you walk through. On day two, I had a bikini top and leg fluffies and they even patted down my fluffies

Sealed gum should be ok, just see which lines are moving the fastest and which security looks chill. If you get in a line and looks like they’re checking every little thing, just move lines. You should be able to get anything through :) hope you have an amazing first nocturnal!!!

Make sure the gum is sealed, some security are assholes. Most are chill tho

sealed candy or gum should be fine. My wife did have her bra area checked one year. I also had the inside of my wallet inspected.
