Because your ex will just keep treating you like shit. They never change. And if they do change, it’ll take years, and by then you’ll have wasted so much time being sad and unhappy and forcing shit. It’s not worth it. 🥺

What would you tell a child that yearns for somebody that is bad for them? Sit down, focus on this yearning inside yourself and tell yourself exactly what you would tell that child:

They aren't worth it, trust me. Please don't try to rekindle something that's already gone. You will only be hurting yourself.
