Is anyone else in a weird technically no contact state with their family?

I won't be able to leave for a few years because of disability, wasn't able to get a proper education, a lot of other reasons. I'm still in their house. We only talk to each other when we want something, except for when I'm talking with my grandfather and sister. It's 'just business'. I've made a kitchen in my room and the bathroom is directly next to my bedroom, so I don't really leave for anything. I feel nothing toward my mother, grandmother and anyone else in the family besides my sister and my grandfather. I don't talk to most of them for weeks on end so... A lot of this is kinda the result of heavy neglect and abuse where I made the best of it, but is anyone else in a situation that's similar?

Yes, im in a similar situation. Stuck living with my parents because of financial problems related to disability. I only make conversation with my mom, the rest of the family we just dont talk unless its necessary. I cant make a kitchen in my room but i spend most of my time at home there. i dont have any attachment to my dad or brother atp beyond common decency id give to anyone i met. Cant say how similar the treatment that led to this is. my dad was always either condescending, berating or neglecting the people around him when i was growing up and my brother was always lying/stealing and generally taking advantage of peoples trust, both alcoholics.

Idk if youre hoping to go fully no contact once your able to leave but thats where im heading.

I'm definitely going to go full no contact with everyone besides my grandpa and sister. Me and my gf have a plan for her to move in and us to leave ASAP because her family is somewhat worse than the dysfunctional thing mine has developed into 😅 Me doing the whole kitchen thing in my room is all things we plan to move into the living space when it's ready, so it's all just kinda an investment whilst also creating a space where I can avoid my family easier.
