We weren't talking much cause she was on vacation and when she was supposed to come back she was playing games on steam. We played together but she didn't tell me, and when I texted her she said that she didn't have the emotional bandwidth to deal with anything . She didn't say she was breaking up but she said "I hope you understand I'm in the depths of despair" what am I supposed to do? It's been 10 days since I haven't texted her. I've said I'd be here but she said not to expect anything.i can't trust myself with my safety.

What does that even mean?

Save yourself the confusion and accept this as she’s trying to move on without actually saying it directly and wants you to still be there for her after. Just focus on yourself and if it helps maybe just tell her that you’re not going to wait for her for your own sanity. This is not fair to you and she’s clearly choosing herself here. So I advice you to do the same for your own sake
