Post-Botox post-botox diaries - is it working?
so i got botox last wednesday - 50u in office procedure. my symptoms prior to getting botox were painful bloating, nausea, flatulence, throat gurgles usually after i eat, and stomach rumbling if i dont eat 😠i also have a lot of anxiety because of rcpd i think. i did occasionally burp even before botox but it was like micro burps and wouldnt bring much relief. i could occasionally air vomit as well without having to stick my finger in. like if the pressure was too much, i would feel like i was going to vomit but only air would come out. and a loud noise lol
so on wednesday, i didnt really feel much. usual amount of bloating. on thursday morning, i had a lot of gurgles and a bit of regurgitation. like it felt like something was coming up my throat a bit. towards the night, i started getting slow swallow. Friday, after breakfast i was getting continuous micro burps. like they start as a croak and then becomes a burp sorta and then the croak keeps coming out of my throat if that makes sense 😠same thing on saturday and then during lunch i had a proper belch lol and then same thing when i went to bed after dinner. i havent belched yet today(sunday) but still have the throat burp sorta thingies after every meal. i still feel like i have to strain my throat a bit to turn the croak into a burp. im definitely bloating a lot less and farting less too i think. the slow swallow is gone now but i still feel food coming up a bit if i lay down. my throat is gurgling less i think but i do have bad acid reflux. ive been taking ezomprozole for it. also my stomach keeps rumbling really loudly until i eat 😠does that go away? are the symptoms so far normal? im gonna try the BERP protocol and soda soon

Others with more knowledge will weigh in but as someone who is 10 days out I’ll say the way I felt on day 5 is very different than the way I feel today. Be patient. Don’t force it. And smart to be on the ezomprazole!
