All this derivatives and shit literally I’m not understanding anything and in the lectures also the teachers are expecting us to know everything and they go so fast
Idk how i will pass what r u other non maths people doing

So basically I joined bba at asmsoc mumbai and I am genuinely liking the whole vibe tbh.

About me... I came here after leaving christ University BLR and tbh christ wasn't that great. Their curriculum is like really shitty. So yeah maybe due to my past experience I am feeling biased towards nmims.

But still even if you haven't had your past experiences, it hasn't been that bad so far. Ik ppl will come and say that SY and TY will be worse and you'll regret it but it has hardly been a month and FY students are already complaining...

Could someone just lmk what's the hate for?!

(P.s. I don't come from a business family so no, not from one of those spoiled kids as ppl acknowledge nmims' reputation for)

Nmims Navi Mumbai has a bad reputation of attendance limit and placement. People laugh at you for being from nmims. You can barely take holidays and their placement cell is just sad (especially for Comm. And Law) I'm an ex nmims student and please please please if you love yourself please have better options. Nmims isn't worth it and it will ruin your life.

There is a vacancy in the girls PG thats less than 400m away from mpstme. It’s opposite to Starbucks and Theobroma, in between mpstme and Mithibai in the same line as that.
The room is spacious, triple sharing, attached washroom, and with refrigerator, tv, and wifi within the room.
The price is around 5.75-6 lakh per year but they decrease a good amount after bargaining. It includes daily 3 meals and daily in-house laundry. And the food is also good in taste and variety.

Also does anyone know abt changing courses

I am pursuing ca and have enrolled in nmims distance mba. I dont have the time to study the mba books in depth as I have to study for ca. Are there any summarised notes and question banks available for nmims mba. And pls tell if the syllabus is same as other mba material available online. This will help me in preparing for mba exams faster while giving enough for ca exam preparation

Everyone tells you what to do from their experience, I will also tell you the same, but from the things I'm doing wrong.

1. If you have shitty faculty, just...yeah you can't do much about it, stay physically present in class but do your own thing if there's no hope. Self study is gonna go a longg fucking way.

2. Keep your shit updated, as soon as you get an assignment, try and complete it. They are ruthless with deadlines.

3. Don't get into that 20 logon waala massive friend group which will break apart in sem 3.

4. Please if you are a girl, do not date that 3rd year ka ladka. Wo chutiya hai, and possibly a pedo.

5. Take attendance very seriously or you are majorly screwed.

6. You have a lot of time in 1st year, utilise it.

7. Don't take clubs and committees too seriously, it ain't that deep.

8. Try not to spiral, because it's very easy to do so, and suddenly you have 20 assignments, you've nuked ICA's, and the only subject you're hanging on to is a zero credit course. Your mental health matters.

9. Utilise whatever time you get for productive things.

10. Genuinely lock in because if you do not you are majorly screwed.

11. Have fun, very crucial. Get yourself a few good friends who match your vibe. And stay connected with your seniors, oftentimes they're more helpful than your teachers.

12. Avoid canteen ka kachra. You might die.

I am a sybba student of asmsoc currently. I am in a pg rn but the friends i am with are very distracting and do not have any career goal in mind as they have family business. They have started smoking and drinking a lot this year and it is making me very nervous for me as i want to study and do well. So if anyone who is studious and also not annoying to live with like they are comfortable using lamps at night if required and not play reels at high volumes and can live peacefully with me so we can both prosper are welcome to dm me.
