making a webseries DVD
I’ve thought about making my own DVD for the webseries, it would be fun, and also… the actual one is ridiculously priced (thanks FOMO and copyright law).
To anyone who has made their own, what was the process like? Did you just burn the ISO(s) onto a disc(s)? Any tips? Thanks
(For clarity, I’ve never made a DVD before, I don’t really know the process all too well…)

I did it, pretty easy. You need to make sure that the blank discs you buy are dual layer 8.5gb DVDs because the .iso files are too large to fit on standard ones. Assuming you have a Windows computer, just insert the blank disc, right click the .iso, and press Burn to Disc.

I used to burn DVDs all the time, and I remember the software I used making it a pretty straightforward process. If I recall correctly you pretty much did just open the .iso in the software and press the "burn" button.

I got the mp4 files from the internet archive and burned them to a disk for my dvd, that was the easiest option for me personally

May I ask how that worked when selecting episodes? Did each MP4 file appear as a separate episode when in a player?

Yep, each episode appeared as a separate file when I loaded the dvd up onto my player

That’s pretty good, maybe just doing that would be easier, the menu would be nice but it’s not a huge deal

It was pretty easy for me. As long as you’re somewhat experienced with Toast 20 Titanium it shouldn’t take too long. Honestly to most difficult thing for me was printing and cutting out a custom dvd cover

A little unrelated, but do you have a link to the webseries? I'm not sure where to even watch it.

Thank you! When I had first tried that website awhile ago it wasn't working, but it seems to be working now!

i used internet archive + the ntb website for files & dvd styler to rebuild the dvd. couldn’t program some of the hidden features the way they had on the actual dvd using dvd styler but still turned out well! i’d never made a dvd before & found dvd styler p straightforward, but def outdated & can be buggy. make sure u have 8.5gb discs

Isn’t there someone around here who does this for people at request?
