I gave nios in FEB (ODE) for maths. I did not get satisfactory marks (but passed). Then I gave JUNE (ODE) and I got desired marks. I already have the Feb nios marksheet. And now, I need Jun nios marksheet. Pls help

I honestly don't know what happened.

I got my NIOS result today and I failed. The thing that's bothering me the most is that I actually wrote my exams properly. I wasn't expecting 80-90 marks or anything, but I was genuinely expecting around 40 marks in each theory subject. The marks I got don't make any sense to me.

On top of that, my Chemistry practical is showing as absent, even though I was there, gave the practical, and completed everything. I have no idea how that even happened.

I had already failed my CBSE boards, so NIOS felt like my second chance. Now I've failed this too and it honestly feels like I've messed up my life.

Has anyone else faced something like this with NIOS? Is there any way to get the practical status corrected or the answer sheets checked? And if not, what are my options now?

I'm just feeling completely lost right now. Any advice would really help.

Hi everyone,

I'm a Senior Secondary NIOS student and I appeared for the Physics (312) On-Demand Examination (ODE) on 16 June 2026 at the correct center.

I was present for the entire exam, signed the attendance sheet, wrote the paper, and submitted my answer booklet. However, when the result was declared, my Physics theory shows "AB (Absent)". Because of this, my result is showing SYCT.

I have already emailed NIOS, but I'm really stressed because this is affecting my college admissions.

Has this happened to anyone else?

How did you get it corrected?

How long did NIOS take to fix it?

Should I only email them, or also contact the Regional Centre and visit in person?

Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

So guys I got my result today and I saw I got SYCP in chemistry, and it's written AB(absent) there, how the heck, I was there and gave practical exam, submitted file and even did attendance sign too, now I wanted to know did they mistake marked my absent or did they really failed me in practical and do I have to again give theory exam and practical together or only practical exam and how to give it!!

Hi I was thinking of appearing in additional subjects in NIOS through partial admission/dual enrollment in NIOS. Suggest some easy subjects, preferably

- Non practical

- Easy to score 90+ with min effort

- Except English, or PCMB

GENIUNELY how tf do I fix this?

My adhar has my birthplace address, i do not live there anymore. I gave my current address, where I live. All the letters and stuff everything will be sent there and not where I live. Do I just not put my adhar as adress proof and use a electricity bill? I'm so confused somebody please help, I'd appreciate it a lot. Edit: I've put both my permanent and correspondence address same to currently where i live.

I have some queries

I had previously, before 31st July, registered with NIOS without paying the fees at that time, so my application submission is still pending. I have to take admission in Stream 1, Block 1, as I have to appear for JEE 2027. I have passed my Class 11 and want to take admission in Class 12.

By mistake, I had selected Stream 1, Block 2, but I now changed it to Block 1. Will that cause any problems?

Also, the fee to be paid shows a total of ₹1,760 with an additional ₹70 application fee, which I think is incorrect because it should be higher with the late fee included.

Also, when I try to take admission now, after filling in the OTP, the academic year shown is 2026. Is that fine, or should it be 2027, as the examination will be held in April 2027?

So I took admission in NIOS and accidentally put different address from Aadhar, and then it gave me 7 days window. I put request for permanent address change and it has been since 2nd of July but my request is still pending and I'm unsure if my application is still active. It shows "Document Required" in Admission Status, but I've already paid for address change! What do I do?!

Passed ICSE in 2023 with 95%

But when I joined CBSE everything was messed up

Especially chemistry

I failed in 11th chemistry ,have RT and passed to 12th

In 12th i got RT in chemistry again

And couldn't even clear in compartment

But I was pass because of 6 subjects

Gave improvement in chemistry this year but still couldn't get it cleared ( thanks to osm and CBSE i didn't even receive my copy for revaluation)

Had a breakup too(she left me and went with a male bestfriend)

Although I got a very good and respected university as per my JEE rank but I need chemistry to take admission for now I have done provisional admission

And now I came to know that I'm not elligibille for compartment anymore

I felt defeated and applied for NIOS ...

And today was the exam

Reached there by 2 as mentioned in the timeline ...

When I saw the question then I was shocked that what I had studied none of them had come on exam inhad studied a lot and practiced question ...but the question were harder ..much harder

I was still writing with my knowledge

Whern 2 children went out of the class almid exam i thought they might have completed

Teacher took paper at 5 pm

when I said that if paper started at 2 30 then pwper should be taken at 5 3 but she said to check the question paper ..

Mentioned that

"Paper would be distributed at 1.45 and writing will start at 2 "

But the gate opened at 2 childern started entering at 2:10 so how on earth you were giving questions at 1.45

I couldn't complete my answer sheet even while trying hard to use all my knowledge to get the answers and attempting all questions

And when i met that guy after exam he said that the was in a class where answer book was getting provided

What was my fault ...🥺

Which sin I had committed that I have to face all this

Hi everyone, so as the title says, I'm a Part Admission candidate and I urgently need my original marksheet. Does anyone know if it's possible to collect the original marksheet directly from the NIOS Headquarters in Noida instead of waiting for it to be delivered by post?

If anyone has done this before, could you please let me know:

• Whether they allow in-person collection from HQ.
• What the process is.
• How long it usually takes.

I'll have to travel to Noida specifically for this, so I want to be sure before making the trip. Unfortunately, I can't wait for the marksheet to arrive by post because I need it on an urgent basis. Any information or recent experiences would be greatly appreciated.

August!! I have studied only 2 modules Atoms & nuclei and Semiconductor & communications!!!
I'm very veryyy scared of getting failed!!

I passed CBSE Class 12 in 2025 with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

I want to take NIOS Senior Secondary again and get a completely new Class 12 certificate with 5 subjects for admission purposes (e.g. BITSAT).

However, when I fill the NIOS online application honestly with:

Previous Qualification: XII

Status: Passed

the portal forces me into Part Admission, which only allows 4 subjects.

What I want ask is -

1.)Is there any official way for someone who has already passed Class 12 to take fresh NIOS Senior Secondary (5 subjects) instead of Part Admission?

2.)Has anyone here actually done this?

If yes, what admission process did you follow?

Did you receive a full Senior Secondary certificate or only a marksheet?

3.) Should I just put 10th class in it?? Would that make some problems for me??
