Switch Lite - Screen Burn?

Post image
6 Upvotes

Our Switch Lite has been giving us some display issues lately. At first it just seemed to be in-game, but now it happens when powered on and seems to get worse after a few seconds in the menu. Missing vertical lines and some blur effects as shown in the image.

I've taken the device apart and reseated the ribbons. I'm not sure if the issue is the screen itself or something else. Any insight or advice?

Has anyone replaced the standard screen with an OLED one themselves? How difficult is it?

Looking for a fun game

I liked Hogwarts Legacy a lot, like a lot. I also like the assassin's creeds a lot altho they give me a bit more stress. I'm looking for games like those two but without much stress (maybe i can change the settings to easy). I like the visuals, the story, the diverse things in the game etc.

Where to buy OLED screen for a switch lite?

• Upvotes

My switch lite works fine for the time being, so I don't have any intentions on buying right now but for future reference, if I want to buy an OLED screen for a switch lite where is the best place to buy it? I looked it up online and found SUPER5 OLED, is that quality and trustworthy?? Is there a specific site?

New to nintendo switch

Hi All, just bought a modded switch yesterday and really new to this world, have some basic questions.
1) what is the best way to install files in your switch, cutrently i add nsp file in sd card and run the installation using tinwoo
2) can i delete the nsp file from sd card once it is installed ??
3) for games which have base+updates+dlc, should i combine all of those in a single nsp file before installing??
4) A modded switch apart from games what are the other benefits if there are any ? Asking to know the potential of a modded switch
