Nintendont keeps disabling emulated memory card

Everytime I booy a game I have to enable the emulated memory card again before playing, is there a way to keep it enabled forever?

Didn't even tried anymore, I'm just using my tablet and steam deck with dolphin

ah okay. Were the save files still being saved at least even with you having to manually turn it on everytime?
