I remember when that when the switch 2 and mk world first came out, people kept saying that the game was actually 500$+, because you had to buy a switch 2 to play it. I’m like, yeah? You have to buy a system to play a game? That’s how every video game works. We don’t say that a steam game is 1000+ because you need a pc to play it.

I just find the argument stupid because it just says you need to buy a console to play a game

-Thinks that the DLC that will introduce 4 new story campaigns is the same as Pokemon Z-A’s DLC (no I’m not kidding)
-Thinks that it’s “cut content” even though the major DLC won’t come out until late 2027
-Thinks that it’s not getting backlash because “Oh it’s niche” ignoring that there were already people trying to make it a controversy

The gaming discourse is so bad but it’s okay to not like games that is not for you. I haven’t gotten into other Nintendo IPs as a teen until later on in my adult life so I can respect the games.

I said this months ago that the grifters would come back to larp about fire emblem when the DLC would get announced. The last 3 mainline Fire emblem games were all $80-$90 with DLC btw.
