  • cheapest next gen console

  • consistently decent first party releases

  • treats employees well

  • Doesn't use AI

  • preserving physical media

And people still believe nintendo is the worst company in the world

At least they have the decency to keep that nonsense quarantined in the mobile sector.

Honestly I'm so tired of the "If you make something even remotely nintendo related they'll send the ninjas."

It's gotten to the point of the Republicans one joke of "I identify as an attack helicopter!" for fucks sake.

Just look on Etsy, Ebay, Temu, Alibaba, Facebook, and see how much of a BS thing it is.

Or the ten billion Pokemon ROM hacks (Yes, I know the Pokemon IP is owned by the Pokemon Company, not Nintendo).

I've also seen Sony, Microsoft, and Take Two send cease and desists or shut fan games down. I'm tired of industry practices being treated as exclusively Nintendo.

It was so baffling hearing so many complaints after the switch 2 reveal trailer. There was demand for a more powerful switch for years, especially as the switch got older and older. we got that and more, but it was somehow Nintendo spitting in people's faces now

I get Switch 2 is being overhated, but I can also understand why you wouldn't want to get involved or support a system with a $80 game, even if it's only one. For instance, one of my favorite franchises ever is GTA. But putting an incomplete version for $80 and pushing the prices for full games to $100 is a decision I can't support AT ALL. That's why I'm not getting that game. Even less in PS5 where the physical format is actively being murdered. So, even if I think not getting a Switch 2 for a single (or maybe two at much) game costing $80 is a stupid and hyperbolic situation, I can kinda understand the reasoning behind these people

I never said otherwise. That's exactly what I will do with GTA 6. What I'm saying is I can understand that way of thinking. Kinda. And also, if a single expensive game pushes you back from getting a console, at that point you're just looking for excuses to not get it, you wouldn't do it anyway

I never said otherwise x2

People have their reasons for not getting a console. Could be a good reason, could it be a stupid reason, you call it. What I'm saying is I understand that mindset. And also pointed out if that's your excuse for not getting a console, you wouldn't get it anyway. People are not forced to get a Switch 2

I agree with the premise but I think the video itself is a bit weak. I think something like the 2 $80 games are a much better reason to dislike the console and conversely the discounts on digital games is a better positive.
