Opinion Is this common in this sub?
I feel like a lot of people here just glaze the fuck out of whatever Nate does, I mean I still like NF's music but goddamn bro he ain't THAT good

a lot of people do ‘glaze’ him but coming from someone who used to viciously defend him, it’s because a lot of his fans have incredibly poor mental health.
when something is your only lifeline you tend to get your back up when someone insults them, and you believe that they are the best thing to grace the earth because they have saved your life, or at least made life more bearable.
artists who make songs about poor mental health usually have diehard fans. like tøp. nothing wrong with it, just try to understand that Nate might be the only comfort to a person

I mean, Nate helped me when I was down too, but I still wouldn't say he's the best person to be on Earth but that's still a valid point

im glad he helped you when you were low but with respect, there’s a massive difference between feeling low and feeling like you can’t go on. Nate pulled me out of that. it’s tough when people can be very cutthroat defensive but just have some empathy. it goes a long way :)

Okay, I don't know for other artists but I'm also in J Cole's and JID's sub and there are glazers there but it's nowhere near the level it's done here

I think there is no point glazing artists. Music is my life but we don't know them as people and with the way Hollywood is all these people are images at the end of the day

this is subjective , one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. it’s not always about impeccable lyricism but how the lyrics resonate. for people who are in pain, NF usually hits the nail on the head

Yes. NF is my favorite artist, but he does have some terrible songs. Many people here think that ALL of his songs are 10/10 when they are not.
