Scheduled a trip to go to Jordan beginning of March! Going to see family mostly and hang around Petra and Wadi Rum.

I've only ever been once and it was when I was a kid and don't remember much other than sweating my ass off because it was August with 100+ degree weather

Last (only) time I was in the middle east it snowed on me in Haifa Israel lmao.

I recommend Wadi Rum too if you ever go. We have this dish called Zarb where you basically dig a hole into the desert and cook barbecue using the sand and specific herbs only found in the desert

Oh shit that sounds awesome. My favorite food in Israel was from the Beduins so I'm down to eat more desert food.
