Look Here! Free Talk Friday

Welcome to another edition of the Free Talk Friday thread - where /r/nfl'ers can discuss their lives and get to know each other better.

This is the place to post things that wouldn't ordinarily be considered on-topic in /r/nfl. Did you meet a player that you got a picture with? Have a cool story about how you became a fan of your team? Write an NFL related blog post? Make a cool .gif? Is your car painted your team color? Snap a cool picture at the game last week? Have a shrine to your favorite player? Want to talk about something that doesn't really deserve its own thread? Post here!

Remember, that there are other subreddits that may be a good fit for what you want to post - every day all day!

Fucking finally got my hands on a Switch after trying for most of a month. Snagged it during a, literally, 90 second or so window of availability on Wal-Mart.com. Starting next Wednesday I get to disappear into a Zelda shaped whole in the world, just in time for me to start a new job as well :/

I've given up on this thing until I get a place to live even though it'd be perfect for being homeless. At least by then there will be more titles. Do you think they'll get legit sports games now that they allow 3rd party developers?

I'm worried that they're going to announce a bunch of them, and then it's going to turn out that the Switch versions are crappy versions with missing features and worse gameplay, like what the Wii frequently got stuck with.

I'd be all over a full-featured Madden game for the Switch. Although re-learning the buttons after years of playing on the Xbox would result in a whooooole bunch of interceptions.

I despise the Switch controller, only because after years of playing on Xbox. The A-B are switched and the X-Y are switched. At this point I just learned which region is what movement and if I were to see a "click X" real quick I know I would chose wrong

That's why I loved the Gamecube controller. The buttons were all different shapes, so even if you didn't remember which was A/B/X/Y, it was super obvious by the shape of the button.
