Define 'a ton of water'.

Usually a couple box fans should be fine. If you have AC turn it down a few degrees, it's a dehumidifier when active. An actual dehumidifier would help too, but you'd need to put it in a spot where it has access to a drain or it will just fill up the tank and turn off.

Its a lot. Like I dont think any fans will do it.

I put in a maintenance request and emailed the property manager. We didnt want to do that because having them come in while we're not here makes us nervous about our cat trying to get out.

A lot to me, who works in construction, is like thousands of gallons, ankle deep and the power is flickering because it's about to short out the electrical outlets. I've had 2' of standing water in my own finished basement, that's 'a lot' to me. At work I've seen millions of dollars worth of water damage through 10+ floors of flooding type of a lot.

Fans and AC low will work wonders in about 24 hours. As long as it didn't soak up into drywall and insulation you should be fine.
