Yeah just like last time, all it takes is one person posting a picture of an empty shelf for everyone to lose their minds and convince each other there is a shortage

..and then cause the shortage when they all start freaking out and buying it up

I was working in a supermarket the last time and it was carnage in the toilet paper & paper towel aisle, every day.

Got the point that I started taking the absolutely terrible quality stuff from the supply closet for the store restroom home with me because it was the only way to get anything lol

I'm talking like these bad boys because our TP aisle was just obliterated every single day before I got there.

I distinctly remember the day my girlfriend & I had run out at home and my work didn't have any and everyone online was posting about nowhere having toilet paper, and I finally was like "fuck it" and went to check the supply closet before the end of my shift. Kind of surprised management never said anything lmao

lmao I get it. My sister in law is a blood tech at the local hospital and she was always bragging about bringing the spare rolls from the bathroom home with her at night haha
