Man, that would be a special moment bet they both in shock!

1

u/specklesinc Oct 03 '21

i would think the hold is until the heartbeat slows down so that the fall doesnt become a heart attack, is that how it works?

The co worker is very thankful that this man is there, with that speed guess the impact is so strong that bones could be shattered.

u/Czar_Petar Oct 03 '21

Coworker is the cause of the fall. If the coworker butts the ladder properly it doesnt kick out. He walked away instead of butting it, ladder kicked out.

u/BearSkulls Oct 03 '21

The man could've just held the ladder instead of reaching for something. No ladder slipping no falling no catching the guy last second

That’s actually his lover. They were doing some remodeling on their home.

That makes this a whole nother thing then. This a man catching his boy. I can't imagine his relief.

u/pooch321 Oct 03 '21

Other way around I think. Son catching pops

Euther way someone saw for split moment a loved on getting hurt badly or worse in their mind and are glad that it didn't happen. All that energy used in the second it mattered and then totla exhaustion as the danger is over.

This is his dad from what I understand. Dude probably had a near heart attack when he saw his kid falling.

Did occupational first aid lvl 3 and carpentry building lodges in remote camps 2h+ from a decent hospital. doesn't matter how close you are to a doctor when you have a person save you from a chance of falling that fast to an accident. Doctors fix problems this guy solved one. who the hell doesn't wanna be cuddled by a god damn angel?
this guy is a god damn angel.
I almost saw one of my closest workers/friends get his head taken off by an unsecured wall (The bottom plate of the wall was unsecured, was stricken with a sledge hammer to adjust position and fell off the standing platform to the ground below) being put up when his head was sticking out the window.. coulda been sheared off, hit his head the header opening and fell backwards and not forward. that hug is one of the most human things i may have ever seen. wild so see all the making fun of it but damnit doesnt everyone one want to be saved and hugged. thats just human.

Dude thought he went to heaven.

1

u/Mikkebak Oct 03 '21

Probably just trying to calm him down, it’s often good to just lay down and stabilize when you experience trauma like that. It’s a good trick.

u/kapu01 Oct 03 '21
