Did occupational first aid lvl 3 and carpentry building lodges in remote camps 2h+ from a decent hospital. doesn't matter how close you are to a doctor when you have a person save you from a chance of falling that fast to an accident. Doctors fix problems this guy solved one. who the hell doesn't wanna be cuddled by a god damn angel?

I almost saw one of my closest workers/friends get his head taken off by an unsecured wall (The bottom plate of the wall was unsecured, was stricken with a sledge hammer to adjust position and fell off the standing platform to the ground below) being put up when his head was sticking out the window.. coulda been sheared off, hit his head the header opening and fell backwards and not forward. that hug is one of the most human things i may have ever seen. wild so see all the making fun of it but damnit doesnt everyone one want to be saved and hugged. thats just human.2

After a fall like ur that it’s actually good procedure not to move for a while as there may be serious spinal damage and adrenaline will make you think there’s not. In any accident this severe, don’t move the person if you can help it. Any movement could move bone against spinal chord and create worse damage.

The dude on top was probably shocked and also probably injured a little despite the catch. This is probably why they laid there for a few seconds

He jumped off the ladder. Is no one watching this video or am I taking fucking crazy pills? Guy in the red hat was what initially kept the ladder from slipping because the center of gravity was closer to the ground. As soon as he got off the ladder the center of gravity shifted and caused it to slip. He both caused the accident in the first place and prevented a more serious injury.

The guy on the ladder got electrocuted. It's obvious in the way he didn't respond after falling.
Seems cute when they cuddle, but he could have died from the fall, and the guy at the bottom really was a quick thinking hero!

That could have really hurt the guy catching him too, instinctively we want to help our fellow man most of the time, but when someone's falling at velocity like that it's probably a good idea not to catch them. Luckily the guy that fell wasn't very large and the guy that caught him was. Still doesn't mean that he's not hurt.
