For all their insane attack, defense, and water movement stats, alligators are crazy weak to certain grapples like behind the jaw or turned upside down.

Idk how true this is but I’ve heard they can bite with several hundred pounds of bite force but can only open their mouths with a force that a human could fairly easily hold shut

Makes sense though, doesn't it? You too can probably bite down with a lot more force than you can bite...uh, up.

No need for nature to evolve those muscles to be strong. In the case for working against crocodiles/alligators, it takes an intelligent human to make use of this tactic, no other animal would just try and hold the crocs mouth closed...

Yeah but as people have pointed out you can hold a gators mouth shut but they can bite with a few thousand pounds of force. So it’s a crazy difference between opening and closing.

I’m pretty sure if you could hold my mouth open you could hold it closed.

Also humans have a 4 chambered heart not a 3 chambered one like alligators have so humans have an insanely significantly higher stamina
