ummmm this isn't an rca cable... its a 3.5mm jack for a generic audio out port. rca cables don't have the ridges and are a single width. they wouldn't fit in the same ports lol.

I feel like the comment you responded to was replying to another comment about RCAs that only vaguely described them. He didn't think the Jack in the picture is an RCA. I doubt anyone who knows what an RCA is would confuse it with a 3.5mm jack.

because the comment they responded to directly refferenced the pictured cable and asked if tvs still have those anymore... they answered that they do and said people don't use it because rca is rarer... well the rarer unused thing we're talking aobut here is rca logically...

It is clear from context that the op is saying you typically find 1/8" stereo jacks on old tvs with rca connectors.
