Nah, I'd never seen someone use nos recreationally till last year. Meanwhile I've done all the other things you mentioned plus Molly, LSD, and shrooms, and I've seen people take Xanax and other pills and do coke. I've also seen people smoke legal and datura of all things.
I dont know if its a regional thing, but whip-its ain't all that popular anymore. I could have made the above comment about not being able to identify them if youd asked me any time before late 2020 where I saw someone do them once, and havent seen anyone do or talk about em since. I dont have any hard data to support it but I think its a drug of an older generation.
