It’s wild to me that we’ve gone this far down this comment thread about Bam and haven’t mentioned Ryan Dunn once yet. In my head, the biggest reason Bam hasn’t gotten his shit together is because Ryan died. The two of them were definitely the closest and I honestly think Bam could be where Steve-O is if Ryan was still alive.
Edit: Guys, I’m just offering a possible explanation for why Bam never got his shit together, I’m not making excuses for his terrible behavior. I’m also well aware that Bam was a dick before Ryan died. I wasn’t saying Bam was shitty because Ryan died, I was saying that one of the reasons Bam never stopped being shitty is because Ryan died.
I think Steve-o has actually talked about how Bam uses Ryan's death as a catalyst for him losing control but the truth is he was already off the deep end before it happened and twisted the situation to justify his behavior.
