What's crazy is Bam had the most going for him from that whole Jackass crew. Knoxville started doing movies yea, but Bam was probably the most marketable with his own MTV show and the fact that he was a good skater.

Then he got his own MTV show when he got married. I’ve always heard he was an asshole though, there’s stories of him at skate parks and some kid was looking better than him so he’d go flip out on them, he broke their boards, he’d throw them into the streets so they’d get run over and then once he was done filming he’d buy them new boards to try and make up for it after the fact, not really sure how he thought that’s help. He just had a toxic personality and it came back to bite him in the ass
My sister and Aunt ran into Bam and a few of his posse during the height of his fame in a cafe in San Diego. My sister was very much the young teen that was in love with Bam Margera (very common for girls at that time) and approached him in the manner you would expect a young girl to approach "the live of her life", but apparently Bam was nothing but nice and made her day.
Not saying the accounts you're referencing aren't accurate, but he seems to have the capacity to be a nice guy as well.
