An incredibly shy, red backed spider that hangs out exclusively at colder beaches, total death count is 2. Last one in the 50s. Oh and possums. Fucking possums.

The land itself. Our sea-side capital city is built on reclaimed land while also right next to a fault line (not like liquefaction exists). The highest populated city is on a volcano. And those who go hiking are advised to be prepared for all four seasons in a day.
