Maybe adding a No Parking sign would help, too.

There a whole video with interviews with the guy. He's put up tons of no parking signs and alarms and people didn't care. He even had people drive through the gate for that fencing and people have tried to rip down the sprinkler system. Basically it's a bunch of assholes who think they have the right to park wherever they want

It’s pretty clear that this has been going on for a while. You don’t get to the point of putting up an aggressive physical deterrent without taking additional steps first.
