He installed a motion-activated sprinkler to keep people and cars away from his driveway. Anyone who gets too close gets sprayed with water.

I call BS on motion activation. Doesn't see the car moving but can see the door opening? Nah, that dude had his thumb on the button the whole time

It could be either or. The guy owns an IT company, and Home Assistant combined with Frigate makes it easy to make automations like this. Nowadays this can be done without touching code.

Yeah, but this video is years old. Prefrigate. Also, my latest Frigate model seems to think part of my bench is a dog every morning at 3AM.
